Description
Here is my Hi Watt High Gain 100 watt valve guitar amplifier which is in pristine condition and sounds incredible and was made in 2007. It has a clean channel that is modelled on the custom DR103 as is the best clean channel of any amp that I have owned and yes it rivals my Fender Twin. The reason that I bought this amp was that I wanted an amp that would provide a clean sound that is as good as a Fender, the Classic Hi Watt sounds as well as all the modern High gain Sounds. So in effect I wanted everything in one amp, and this Hi watt does just that.
The amp has two channels which are foot switchable and is one of the early UK made High Watts that were made between 2004-2007 before they were made in the the far east. The circuit and board layout designed by Paul Stevens (Trace Elliot, Gibson & Peavey), so the design and layout simply does not get better. The Transformers were wound to partridge specifications and made in the UK and are pictured so you can see that this amp is superbly made.
The amp has been used for recording and has not been gigged, so the condition is as new with no marks or tears in the tolex. The amp has no scratches or marks. This is a chance to buy a modern made classic Hi Watt amplifier that is made in England.
